I have been buying digital prints and digital canvas prints from Photobox for years, recently however their service seems to have taken a nose dive for the worse.
Shocking delivery times
Firstly the products I have got from Photobox have always been good quality. Up until recently their dispatch times have been reasonable, however recently this seems to have changed. Having purchased digital canvas prints before, I recently ordered 2 prints as gifts for family members. While working my way through the order process I did notice a link on the Photobox site stating "Where's my order", it would be a forewarning of things to come!!!
I waited (patiently) for over a week and my order did not arrive. I contacted Photobox customer service (via email) and received the now standard auto-response. The response email mentioned that due to high demand the response time could be up to 2 working days!!! This is completely unacceptable. Companies who are doing well due to high demand should have quicker response times....not longer ones! I finally got a response that was about as helpful as Photobox sending me out a biscuit tin with 10 dead kittens inside.
I was very sorry to hear about your inconvenience (ED* I'll bet you were) with PhotoBox. Please accept our apologies on this matter. Please follow the website to rearrange the deliver and it allows you to choose the date suitable.
Having followed the link I found out the parcel had been sitting in a depot in the UK for over a week, and has not moved since!!!!
ie shipping parcels out of the UK for? Is Ireland that shambolic that .ie companies cannot operate in Ireland!!! Since when did it become common practice for customer service to not help in any way. Now I have to:
- Investigate the problem
- Contact the delivery company, MYSELF!
- Get the fail parcel from the fail depot, MYSELF
It's a classic case of a company passing the ball to the carrier, and not accepting any blame or responsibility and not helping in any way! It's completely unacceptable and an absolute disgrace for the money you are charging for your products and services. Having used the website that Photobox sent me (www.hdnl.co.uk) it tells me it can not find my parcel!? It asks me to enter a POSTCODE......WE DONT HAVE MOFO'IN POSTCODES IN CRAGGY ISLAND!!!!
Thank you Photobox for an abysmally bad customer service experience, I will do my best to ensure that everyone I know does not buy your products anymore.
